This website was created in order to show you the work developed by the elements of class 4 in the course "Introdução à Medicina" at Faculty of Medicine of the University of OPorto in 2009/2010.
Here you can get to know a bit more of our project and have access to our article based on performance of Prognostic Scores in Portuguese Pediatric Intensive Care Units (PICUs).
The aims of our project are assess and optimize the Pediatric Risk of Mortality (PRISM and PRISM III) and the Pediatric Index of Mortality (PIM and PIM2) scoring systems, in comparing the risk-adjusted mortality of children after admission in PICUs.
